of the best teams in the lot.In 10 years of activity we have also participated in Formula Opel Lotus, Formula 3 and F3000 championships with Astromega, which helped RP accumulate experience that could be used in Formula Renault which, from the year 2000(initial year of the championship), represents RP's primary objective.
In this context, the team has evolved, growing and improving until it became a reality in the national motorsport world, and is now able to offer the experience and competence needed for a young driver to continue on to more prestigious and harder category's in international motorsports.
From the 2008 season, RP has a new associate, Graziano Rocca, after years of being a outside helper, he has now become a true "RP man".
The family grows, both from a personnell point of view, and also from an effort on track. The big news of this season is in fact the participation of RP in the Spanish F3 championship, with this, RP will now have five cars on the track.
Three will be, as usual, F. Renault's
deployed in the Italian Championship. The other two cars will be F3's
deployed in the Spanish Championship.Structures and Services
RP's assistance on track is top-notch. Every car watched over by two mechanics and by a track engineer that coordinates and supervises. The guys in the team are very united, highly specialised, and have been working together for a long time. These characteristics help them work in perfect coexistence even in the most critical of times, when there is little time and precision and speed is needed..
RP Motorsport's structure is definitely top-notch, cared for and furnished with the most innovative equipment. The personnell works in a 450 square meter (almost five thousand square feet) workshop, furnished with everything needed for the preparation and the development of the cars. Other than the car workstations, the workshop also has a side department equipped with
power tools and a deposit for spare parts.Our participation of the Spanish F championship required a new establishment in Spain, we decided to place our headquarters in Castillon, near Valencia.
And since we are participating in two championships, the team provided itself with two new vehicles. Another semi truck, that will be used with our other semi. Both are capable of transporting three cars and everything needed for a race weekend. These semi trucks aren't just transport trucks, but should be considered as real mobile workshops, equipped with the best components money can buy and that are designed to be easy to use and accessible.
Completing our line-up of transport vehicles, is our new passenger vehicle, which will also be used with our older vehicle.
